we made an appointment to go horseback riding because anytime i have the opportunity i must take it.
we were unsure if we would be able to due to the heat but they said yes.
at the last minute hizazzle asked if their horses could have taller riders and they said yes....
hm, a place with a john wayne sized horse. sounds promising.
when we arrived we walked straight into the barn and met the friendliest horse to my knowledge, ombre.
we changed into acceptable riding gear and waited.
then my horse, leo, was brought out and i started to get excited.
hizazzle started to get a little nervous i think. not very confident around horses.
when hiz's horse is brought i hear him begin to laugh....
that is because they brought out a belgian.
meet bella the belgian. i guess they can accommodate riders of any height and build because they have a draft horse.
you will notice that it was so hot and sticky that our clothes were literally shrinking or melting on me.
but that was okay. i was about to see hizazzle ride a draft horse.
i figure it fit his germanic land profile to have a belgian.
bella wasn't very cooperative and even the strongest hizazzle in the world won't convince a belgian to move by mere kicking.
you weren't going to make her go down the hill.
our guide's pony was full of hijinks and occasionally decided to pull a baloo the bear.
she had an itch.
bella, you're stepping in my shot.
scratch that itch.
a well deserved drink.
the end.
