begat

projects beget each other.
there is no denying it.

for example:
i gave my parents a nice wood bookshelf that formerly held p's books.
i had one that she didn't need to be careful with so they could use that one....
and when it was gone i saw just exactly how not careful with the walls she is.
so what should have been a book shelf switcharoo turned something else.
cut to me painting the toy pantry,
and since i had intended to do it with chalkboard paint... two days and a great leg work out later:
then i was given a wardrobe that was past the days of beauty.
more like scratched and dinged but still useful.
i had intended to give p my childhood dresser so cut to me suddenly spending days doing this:
bookshelf give away begets chalkboard room
free dresser begets rearranging furniture and another painting project.
my projects need to stop having children.
one last project - paint the bedroom... and maybe the bathroom.
now i really need to finish my bedroom.  that can wait until october (when i can get the best paint ever in N.Y.  once you work with nice paint it's hard to go back).

p.s. do you like my oscillating fan collection reflected in the mirror.  classy photo right?
