there was a promotion at the city museum - free entry. we went two nights so we could take our time.
it was a long high traffic car ride and p and i literally got of the car and walked there faster than hizazzle could drive. i forgot my phone so we had to wait at the entrance for hiz to show up, early 90's cell phone free style. p had already spent the day being a rather good and still girl and my grandmother's so i let her runs some laps while we were waiting. (it wasn't crowded)
almost everything is different since the last time i was there (middle school) but at least some things hadn't changed. vintage water fountains.
that's one mount she should be used to seeing.
basket heaven.
i've decided i'm a style schizophrenic. how can one person love native baskets, east europe textiles, european early farm house, and mid century mod equally.
those people who can be satisfied living in that olive garden decor might be the lucky ones.
this quilt can only be made for and received as a gift. i fell in love with it.
end of night one.
night two.
now these displays i remember.
ending the night with another museum piece, table juke boxes.
