as you can see, out of the rear window,... miracle of miracles, i was able to attach my bike to the rear of the car
(as it would not fit in our back seat- where i would have shoved it if i could).
i attached the rack and the bike by myself and then by myself drove down the highway petrified it would fall off. |

we went somewhere we were familiar with..
(the other miracle is that i found it -with some familial directional help... who needs gps when you have hizzles) |

note: i fully realize that helmet-less children are present in this post so please refrain from all concerned comments. in all my preparedness i forgot to bring it. it's a twenty minute drive one way, and if you've ever tried to convince tenacious p to wear a helmet longer than 5 minutes and succeeded, well, here is your gold star.
