trying something new

a while ago someone gave me a recipe for making my own laundry detergent.

a recipe which i promptly lost.

but i found it, or another like it, again and decided to launch myself into a new world of diy money saving laundry detergent.

even laundry detergent is better in pyrex

two gallons of detergent for under five dollars is not bad and i haven't come close to using up the ingredients

it doesn't save hundreds of dollars but it doesn't have extraneous ingredients like non-useful suds and if i don't have to buy detergent all the time - great!
this lady did all the steps and the money saving math already so i'll just link her right here.
