day 7 part 1: back to new bern n.c

waiting to go

cute outfit.  let's see how long it lasts

first stop to say hi to cousin erin at her vet aid job

new bern is the birthplace of pepsi

and they have bear statures all over the place

elvis doesn't impress her

this is a diff store.  we wasted time taking self portraits in a mirror while the others
shopped in the expensive highly breakable object store.
you can barely see pens head  but it's there

i know it's a piece of tape but i liked the reflections
and the barely visible soda counter stools

after these pictures we did our good deed for the day.
on a trip to the car we noticed someone parked their care and left it running.
 an hour later is was still running.
and another hour later.  so when we were leaving we stopped into the closest restaurant
so someone would know and i guess try to do something about it because
we had an hour drive a head of us and no more time to spare.
turns out it was a waitress who worked there.
we patted ourselves on the back and went home.
