dragging poor kitty from his comfortable and familiar home at the church office |
i believe i heard a 'help me' at this point |
snuggle |
snuggle then spend 15 minutes trying to recapture kitten that's hiding for it's life under furniture |
snuggle recaptured kitten with gram |
finally return him home, tired, confused, and... ...now and forever afraid of toddlers... and then we went home and canned peaches |
we canned canned canned to the beat of 'bongo bongo bongo i don't want to leave the congo' and 'the ferry boat seranade' and tons of songs from my grandfather's records |
and then the peaches somehow found space post canning that i couldn't find pre-canning |
but the caps look pretty |
and then we stacked them while p the kitten scarer was dressed in boys p.j.'s (hey, they were a dollar. have you ever found p.j.'s for a dollar?) |
I love the look of all those canning jars filled with peaches!! I remember those days and the satisfaction at looking at those filled jars and feeling like I was giving my family the best they could have, an no preservatives!!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!
