ice cream social - church basement style

our church (hosted by the ladies AFC) had an ice cream social to raise money for the shepherd's home 'food for a day' program.  i've grown up with the shepherds home in that we've raised money for it during my my whole life at the church.  especially with the birthday bank or DVBS offerings.

this is not the birthday bank that i grew up with but as that was a fixture in my memory this will be a fixture in pennie's.  she loves to put money in the bank.  and pet the lamb.  and run up to it and point at it and demand more money from people around her.

we're not the fanciest people in the world but i heard it was a hit! i didn't get to go because of a wedding and apparently i'm the only one who would have taken pictures of the actual shin dig.  good job dad.
