we were invited to a evening picnic at a far away park and decided to go early and explore.

i regret my sense of exploration as it was the most overgrown trail we've been on in a long while.

i was rather freaked out and convinced we all were contracting lyme disease through the entire experience.

most of the time i was cringing but on the few comfortable spots we had some fun.
and if you meet a hiker who says 'it's too dry for ticks' smile nicely walk away and put on more bug spray.
that happened.... and that's what i did.
