it took a long time but i finally tried my vanilla.
i was concerned because the color isn't nearly as dark as the tutorial pictures or the vanilla i buy in a store but i took a deep breath and added some to my coffee and i admit, i loved it.
it doesn't have that alcohol flavor and it's yummy enough you could lick it off of your finger if you wanted to (for example if you poured it into you heavy cream and a glob falls down the side of the bottle.... you don't want to waste that!)
it is rather precious and is only used in my creamer. baking can have the other stuff. plus as it's not very concentrated i would have to use more and go through it quicker.
as it is now i need to start another batch.
