a holiday parade

we love a holiday parade.
except for hizazzle.  he goes for safety reasons.
st. pat's parade, cold as it was, was on our agenda.
bring on the candy.
except our city parades stink at giving out candy.  the suburbs are much better for that.
and we still don't know what a hibernian is despite the fact that we saw about fifty groups of them.
while today is good friday and i wish i had a post to express how excited i am to celebrate
the. most. important. holiday.
i do not, so we'll look at st. pat's day pictures.
just believe me.  we're ready to celebrate our Savior.
because He lives, I can face tomorrow.  because He lives, all fear is gone.  because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives.

  1. From Wikipedia: "Hibernia is the Classical Latin name for the island of Ireland. The name Hibernia was taken from Greek geographical accounts."
