wonder of the ages, hydrogen peroxide

NOTE:  i added a page above, The Rews, it has a link to their website about the prospect of church planting in Pittsburgh.

remember the curly leaves?
leaves caused by destructive pests.  pests not killed by nurseries so that you keep coming back to purchase their pretty blooming plants after the previous blooming plant you just purchased died after a  short and rather tragic month.
you know, those pests that keep you coming back to buy $7 bottles of pest killer which only kills the flying adults (who sometimes are the culprit - whiteflies) but leave the plant killing larvae alone.
ever notice how most nursery plants are extremely dry to the touch... dry because larvae go dormant in dry soil.  catching on to my theory here.  buy pretty dry plant, water plant, de-dormant bugs, dead plant.

did you know there is a simple way to kill certain larvae, say fungus gnats that are usually the culprit.
well now you do, hydrogen peroxide.
i feel like shouting from the rooftops: 'ALL YOU NEED IS HYDROGEN PEROXIDE.'

1 part 3% h.p. and 4 parts water.  pour into very dry plants (2 inches deep dry where the little buggers live).  and voila.  dead larvae.

it even makes fizzing sounds in the dirt.  i imagine it's tiny plant killing bugs dying.  die bugs die.
you know i immediately went through my whole house dosing all my plants and look what happened a literal 60 secondas after i treated pennie's rose:
that's only a fraction of the littler buggers that were, quite literally, washed out through the drainage hole.
treat once a week then move to once a month (it's also kind of like a fertilizer for the plant).

now i ask why this was so hard to discover.  i have been internet researching pest control options for two months.  i even have a bag of food grade fossilized plankton about to be delivered to my door (no lie).  in a moment of desperation i just happened to type 'how long to drought plants to kill pests' into a search engine and the answer, the easy, extremely affordable, easy to find, readily available w/o shipping & handling, safe solution, was in my stinking cupboard the whole time.  i guess that in my previous searches i could have typed in a poor choice of key words but i think that 'how to kill houseplant pests', 'how to rid houseplants of flies', 'how to kill pests in plant soil' are pretty clear.  but that's just me.
source link here.
i'm telling you it's a conspiracy.  i knew someone once who was said to do subpar work so that the client had to come back for further work, the cheater called it 'job security.'  doesn't it just make you wonder why such an easy fix was so hard to find.  conspiracy.

p.s.  i'm out of hydrogen peroxide
