the big freeze

i hate having to buy garlic but since i can't grow it we like to buy it in bulk.
and then it dry rotted on me.
i forgot it wasn't fresh and wouldn't stay as long as fresh garlic.

i'm excited to try frozen garlic.
my neighbor told me it changes the flavor in a good way.
she said 'buttery' but i'm not sure.

it's a taste experiment.  at the very least it won't be dust.
(note: jar and garlic were well frozen before lid was put in freezer)
