no idle hands

i'm trying not to have 'idle hands' so i had to find something to do with them.

it's not a masterpiece but i liked it.

which means that lots of people are going to be recipients of less than perfect gifts.  (after this i worked doubly hard to get those hoop wrinkles out.  lesson learned there)

i can attest that it's just that much more rewarding to have something pretty at the end of an evening in addition to an hour of me-tv.  hopefully i'll get to higher plains of craft-ness in the future.  i'm under a big shadow there...

let me introduce you to a product of the master crocheter, my gram.  in the time it took me to manage one set of booties and one embroidery hoop she managed to make nine sets of booties for charity in addition to four sweaters, four hats, and four other sets of booties for gifts.  i have a long way to go.
