just me and p, and horses

one saturday the dynamic duo were left to their own devices.
the news said a horse show as going on.... 

well, yes there was... but when we got there we were informed that the news announced the wrong show date.  the show we wanted was the following weekend.  this show was an inter-stable show/competition.
determined to make lemonade out of lemons we stayed.  anything with horses is interesting to us.

there were horses all around.
what i don't have pictures of is the ten minute hissy fit a certain blond child threw because she wasn't allowed to ride the horses.  it seems she couldn't understand why we couldn't ride them like at the fair (farm show).  sorry p, quarter horses all excited to run around barrels aren't exactly suitable for three year olds.

(what you can't see is me hyperventilating internally over that helmet.  they plopped it on her head for safety but there were silent screams inside my head saying 'LICE LICE LICE')

playing 'animals in a cage' fun time.
this has an interesting story where i almost cut someone in half with laser beams coming from my eyeballs... i won't go into it here but let me just say.  some random, rude, ridiculous, over-bearing guy barely missed meeting scary kassandra.  i think he saw me staring at him with baited breath waiting for him push the limit.
i don't know what my expression was like but hubs tells me that those expressions could kill wild animals and wilt flowers.
