i can't get the pictures off of my camera phone.
i haven't downloaded my other camera pictures (but there is a good field trip coming)
and today is a day that i don't want to fill with fluff anyway.
my cousin said it best.
today is the day that families relive their massive loss on a scale we cannot imagine due to media and whatnot.
i couldn't imagine seeing that plane with my loved one on it hit those towers every year.
(or see the wreckage on the field in pa.)

i love the last verse of this hymn. it is such a great reminder to believers and compels me to share my comforter with all the people i meet so they can know who cares for them.
Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth and song;
As the burdens press, and the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?
O yes, He cares- I know He cares!
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary
The long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?
O yes, He cares- I know He cares!
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary
The long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when I've tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief I find no relief,
Tho my tears flow all the night long?
O yes, He cares- I know He cares!
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary
The long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when I've said goodbye
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?
Oh yes, He cares- I know He cares!
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary
The long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
