| i don't like sea shells just sitting around collecting dust and since i'm not about to make a seashell framed mirror i had to find something else to do with them... which meant, for my idea, i had to clean them |

| did you know that when you put sea shell in vinegar water a reaction occurs?? i didn't either but it does. oops. i broke down and used tiny drops of clorox to clean and prevent any algea growing on the sea shells when i placed them in water. (i didn't want to bleach out the colors of the shells) |

| and voila, i think it worked. so far, no green algae. |
