the pencil family

one day in a moment of cleaning frenzy i tested every pen in our household and pitched every pen that didn't work...
and now we're almost completely void of pens.
a major conclusion was then reached.  use pencils.  hm. pencils. real pencils.
why was i so committed to entering walmart with a inked grocery list when graphite works just as well?
and the ink doesn't dry out....
and they're less expensiosive....
and i have about 50 already....
and all i have to throw away is a tiny stub....
i'm committed.  it's pencils from now on.
(except the couple working or nice pens that i kept... so far hizzle has refused to use my pencils.)
