like i needed another reason to love my library

our local library decided to commission a local artist to paint scenes from children's literature to fill the gigantic empty wall space.  these pictures are big.  i love them

i was so excited when i saw them

p was completely un-phased

i was on the verge of giggling

i even like this one (even though i hate the book)

me and another patron got in a discussion about this one.  i was for it, she didn't like it.

p still could have cared less.
if it was a depiction of 'peter and the wolf' i'm sure she'd be all over it.

bravo.  good idea library people.
